Chris Bean
Head Varsity Coach

Entering his 16th year and 9th as Head Varsity Football Coach, Bean preaches technique, execution, and discipline in his approach to the players. His teams have produced multiple college athletes and brings an entertaining brand of football that is fun to watch, as well as fun to play for his players. Before Coach Bean left Lincoln High School, the Fighting Zebras were competing with the top teams in the section and ranked as a top 20 Sac Bee team on a yearly basis. His enthusiasm and love for his players has definitely produced results on the field and have a larger purpose off the field. Coach Bean is also on the Twelve Bridges High School teaching staff as an English teacher.

Jon Scofield
Head JV Coach

Coach Scofield is entering his 9th year of high school coaching. Coach Scofield spent three years as the head Freshman coach at Lincoln High School and 3 years as the JV Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator. Coach Scofield was also a part of the varsity football staff coaching defensive backs. As Lincoln High School’s JV head coach, Coach Scofield has coached his teams to a record of 22-2 with back-to-back league championships in 2018 and 2019. Not only is Coach Scofield a football coach, but he’s also a cheer dad! Coach Scofield has a daughter who is a two-time national champion and two-time state champion for the Lincoln Junior Zebras cheer program.

Chris Shoro
Head Freshman Coach

Coach Shoro has lived in Lincoln for over 30 years and graduated from Lincoln High School. He loves the city of Lincoln and is grateful to be raising his 3 children here. Coach Shoro coaches wrestling at the middle school level as well as worked as a high school wrestling official for 5 years; coached the game of football for 9 years. Coach loves what the game of football does for these young athletes who are transitioning into young adults. He's excited to be a part of the new Twelve Bridges High School and looks forward to all the great things that will be taking place. GO RHINOS!

Greg Turner
Coach

Greg Turner will be entering his 8th season as a high school football coach.  He started coaching high school football in Coach Bean's second year as the program head coach at Lincoln High School.  Greg was brought in to coach quarterbacks and be Offensive Coordinator at the JV level these past 3 years and coach WR at the varsity level. He has appreciated the confidence given to him by Coach Bean and Coach Scofield to remain in this position for the last 6 years.

Dave Fear
Coach

Coach Dave Fear has coached at the high school level for 4 years. He also coached in the Junior Zebras football program for 4 years. He's a part of the Positive Coach Alliance and is actively involved in serving the Lincoln community by sitting on several boards and clubs. Coach Fear is extremely committed to seeing Twelve Bridges High be built. Dave became the president of the Citizen Bond oversight committee to insure that things were done right in the construction of Twelve Bridges High School.

Bill Bean Sr "Pops"

Pops has been our equipment manager for over 25 years. He is the man behind the scenes, keeping everything organized and ready to go each week. He builds storage units for all the equipment and is very handy. He is a key role model for the men on the team, he helps build them into men of character. 

Grant Fowler
Coach

Coach Fowler enters his 15th year at the high school level, coaching varsity for the last 13 years. He served as the Varsity Defensive Coordinator this past year. As a player he had the opportunity to win a CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Championship (2004) with Colfax High School. He’s an intense competitor, no nonsense coach, who keeps his players focused and working hard to improve, but most importantly loves his players! Coach Fowler believes that football is the greatest team sport that fosters character, integrity, and accountability among those he mentors and coaches. Coach Fowler is also on the Twelve Bridges High School teaching staff as a Physical Education teacher. 

Nathan Peach
Coach

Known as “The Mayor” Coach Peach was born and raised in Lincoln. His family lineage goes back for generations. Coach Peach is an extremist when it comes to teaching players to utilize leverage, position, quickness and technique to cause havoc along the offensive line. He’s a disciple of the quick 6 technique that has made him a very successful coach for the past 19 years. Along with his very supportive family and wife Robin, Nathan helps to run a successful construction company. In his spare time, he loves to road/mountain bike and run. He has a passion for helping kids grow both mentally, physically, and spiritually.

Tony Handley
JV Coach

Coach Handley grew up in Placer County and attended Colfax High School. He moved to Lincoln in 2003 with his young family and started coaching in the Lincoln Jr. Zebra football program in 2010.  Coach Handley's two sons and daughter have been involved in Lincoln sports in the junior program and at Lincoln High School.  In 2017 he joined Coach Scofield coaching the freshman football team and the last 3 years on the Junior Varsity team. Coach Handley is looking forward to helping build the Twelve Bridges football program from the ground up.

John Jewett
Head Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Coach Jewett has successfully run his own private performance training business.  He strives to be more than just a coach and to build meaningful, impactful relationships with each player. Accountability, responsibility, discipline, work ethic and time management are all pillars of his strength program. Coach JJ believes that attributes learned in the weight room will help create not just better football players, but better men and women. Coach JJ will bring his infectious love of lifting weights to the Rhino weightlifting program.

Mike Chavis
JV Coach

Coach Chavis is entering his first year of coaching at the high school level. He played tackle football for 10 years in Southern California. A graduate of Mission Viejo High School, he received First Team All League honors and made the Orange County All Star Team which lead to a football scholarship at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Coach Chavis has resided in Lincoln since 2008 with his wife and three children. He has coached various youth sports since arriving in Lincoln. He is thrilled to be coaching high school football and in contributing to helping the kids grow.

After being a two-way varsity standout player. Coach Faddis came to give back to the program coaching linebackers and running backs at the Freshman level. Entering his 2nd year, Logan is beyond his years with football knowledge and high IQ of the game.

Frank Arredondo
Coach

Has lived in Lincoln for 4 years. Born and Raised from the Bay Area (Fremont), Coach Frank brings twenty plus years coaching experience, has been coaching youth and High School Baseball and Football. Coach Frank has been a Frosh head coach, offense and defense coordinator positions. Coach will be coaching defensive backs this year.

Justin Trent
Coach

Coach Trent has been a varsity Football coach for 7 years.He comes to 12 Bridges by way of Highlands High School where he spent the last 6 seasons as the Varsity Offensive and Defensive Line coach. During his time at Highlands he help lead the Scots offensive and Defensive line to 4 Playoff appearances. Trent is an alumni of Highlands High. Coach Trent is a very passionate line coach, and believes that these young men are students before they are athletes. He is highly focused on the fundamentals of Line play and is a firm believer that games are won and lost in the trenches.

Coach Drinkwater brings a amazing resume to the Rhinos program. Playing high school football at Roseville High then continuing his football career at Sierra College; coaching there for 4 years after his playing days. Coached for 12 years at Roseville High as DC for JV & Frosh and 1 varsity year at Woodcreek High. Coach is a Roseville High School grad with 2 wonderful children. He's Very thankful & humbled to be a part of the TB family

Coach Jennings is entering his 8th season as a high school coach. His experience includes 7 years of coaching at Granite Bay High School as the Offensive and Defensive line coach for JV and Defensive line coach for Varsity. Coach Jennings has also been involved coaching local youth football and has volunteered for 3 seasons coaching the firefighters in the annual Sacramento Pig Bowl. During his time at Granite Bay, he assisted in a section championship in 2017 and consecutive playoff seasons. He is excited to join a knowledgeable staff and assist with the growth of the Rhino program. Coach Jennings resides in Lincoln with his sons Peyton & Tyson.

Chris Hogge
Coach
Coach Hogge has an extensive resume; assistant coaching several football & wrestling programs, 9 years of football playing experience, HS & collegiate level, Radford High School where he was awarded player of the year, multiple 1st team all conference awards at OL/DL, heavy weight wrestling champion & all state honors. In college, playing at the University of Hawaii & Missouri State University (formerly SMSU), where they won WAC Conference & Oahu Bowl in 1999. He was a 3 year letterman/starter in his NCAA career. Finally, Coach Hogge served as Scouting Director/Scout in the Arena Football League (AFL) with San Jose & Arizona franchises (05’-08’). His pride & joy is his family; wife Ashley & 4 great sons, Colton, Brooks, Taylor & Liam, the latter 3 born in Lincoln where they’ve lived the past 12 years.

Steve Dutra
Coach
Coach Dutra is entering his first year of coaching at the high school level.  He has resided in Placer County for over 49 years. He brings 15 years of experience playing tackle football which includes: Roseville High School, Sierra College, Sacramento’s Pig Bowl and Guns & Hoses football games.
Coach Dutra has previously coached youth baseball and is very humbled to be a part of the Tweleve Bridges Coaching Staff. 
This season, he is looking forward to leading by example and mentoring his players.  Additionally,  he wants to emphasize how important discipline, leadership, and work ethic are - not only on football field but also in life.
